Texas A&M: Senior All-America outside hitter Destinee Hooker logged a match-high 23 kills on .465 hitting, and junior All-America outside hitter Juliann Faucette chipped in 11 kills on .417 hitting to pace No. 2 Texas to a 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-18, 25-21) over Texas A&M in the NCAA Regional semifinals ... senior All-America setter/opposite Ashley Engle dished out 27 assists and added six kills and nine digs, while hitting .600.
Texas is 27-1 on the season with 15 of its wins coming on the road ... the Horns are 11-1 at away games and 4-0 at neutral sites in 2009 ... the Horns own victories at Hawaii and Nebraska, which perennially rank in the top-two on the NCAA Volleyball attendance charts.

Senior All-America outside hitter Destinee Hooker continued to shine at Qwest Center Omaha with her 23-kill, .465 hitting effort against Texas A&M in the NCAA Regional semifinal ... in four career matches at the venue she has posted three 20+ kill matches ... she averages 4.81 kills per-set, 19.25 kills per-match and is hitting .376 in her Qwest career.

Several current Longhorns are leaving their mark on UT's postseason record book ... the senior class of Ashley Engle, Destinee Hooker and Heather Kisner have played in 16 NCAA matches in their careers ranking in the top spot in UT history ... junior middle blocker Jennifer Doris' .473 career NCAA attack mark ranks No. 1, while Heather Kisner's 161 digs and Destinee Hooker's 222 kills each rank second.
In 22 career national television appearances, senior outside hitter Destinee Hooker has shined ... in 2009 she is averaging 5.22 kills per-set (9 sets) and is hitting .359 in UT's national TV matches ... she averaged 4.40 kills on .331 hitting in 2008's six TV matches ... in 2007 Hooker posted 4.85 kills and 2.00 digs per-set on TV (63 kills in 13 sets) ... in Texas' eight nationally televised matches in 2006, Hooker recorded 124 kills, including a 4.00 kill per-game average (31 sets) in those matches ...
