Volleyball fact attack: What do you want for Christmas?
Throughout the 2006 season, the Texas Volleyball team will answer some questions posed by TexasSports.com, allowing fans some insight into the unique individuals that make up the eighth-ranked Longhorns. This week the players reveal what they want for Christmas. Alyson Jennings: I want a national championship ring for Christmas. Michelle Moriarty: All I want is to spend some time with my friends, family and my boyfriend. I also want the Nike Shox with Longhorns on them. Jen Christian: I want a Range Rover for Christmas. I'm not going to get it, but it's always nice to dream. Dariam Acevedo: I want a big party with my family. We would get everyone together because I haven't seen them in a long time. Heather Kisner: I want to go on a shopping spree with my mother, and just be home with my family. Jenny Andrew: For Christmas, I would like to wrap the team in the (national championship) white banner. I would also like to spend Christmas in Louisiana and Houston with my family. Destinee Hooker: All I want for Christmas is to go home for a month and stay there. I haven't been back home to see my house and my family in eight months. Kiley Hall: I want In-N-Out Burger for Christmas, because I haven't had one in a really long time. I would also like the Nike Shox with the Longhorns logo on them. Ashley Engle: All I want is to spend a lot of time with my family and friends, and eat a lot of good food. Lauren Paolini: I want snow for Christmas. I'm going home to Michigan for the holidays and I want it to snow while I'm there RuthAnn Feist: I obviously want a national championship because that's what we've been working on for so long. After that I want to go home and rest in my bed and hang out with my family. Jennifer Todd: For Christmas, I would love to have a national championship. Then, I want to be home with my family and my dog, Timber, because I love him and miss him. I would also really like a flat-screen TV, dad.
