Hey Y'all, Thanks to all of you who came out to support us last week! Our fans are AWESOME, and make the environment so much fun to play in! Last Wednesday, we took on a very good Nebraska team here at Gregory. Going into the game, we knew it was going to be a battle until the end. Coach (Jerritt Elliott) kept telling us to be patient, and be ready for a long hard match; it wasn't going to come easy, we were going to have to fight for each and every point. We ended up winning in four sets, and now we have a shot at sharing the Big 12 title. On Saturday, we hosted the Kansas Jayhawks. We came out strong the first two sets, and were able to hold onto the third set with a 27-25 win. With the sweep over Kansas, it takes us one step closer to accomplishing one of our team goals this year, winning the Big 12 back to back! In the last weekend of Big 12 play, we head up to a Missouri to face a very good Tiger team. The game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first serve. Then we come home on Saturday, to face off against the Colorado Buffs at 6:30 p.m. as well.
