In the most recent edition of the NCAA stats (Nov. 22) the Longhorns rank No. 4 nationally with their .303 team hitting percentage ... UT also ranks 29th in the NCAA with 2.55 blocks and 24th with 14.14 kills per-set ... senior middle blocker Jennifer Doris ranks No. 4 nationally with her .426 hitting percentage ... junior middle blocker Rachael Adams ranks No. 6 nationally with her .422 hitting percentage and 44th with 1.21 blocks per-set.
FAUCETTE TABBED AVCA NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette earned her second-straight Big 12 Player of the Week honor and her first career AVCA National Player of the Week award on Nov. 23 after leading UT to wins over Missouri and Kansas ... Faucette remained hot, averaging 6.79 points, 6.00 kills, 3.57 digs and 0.71 blocks per-set, while hitting at a .368 clip ... her offensive explosion versus KU marked her fourth match in her last five outings that she has registered 24 or more kills ... she tallied her 19th and 20th career kill/dig double-doubles in UT's two wins.
UT IN THE BIG 12 STATS
Through 18 Big 12 matches the Longhorns are blanketing the stats in conference matches and lead the league with .313 team hitting percentage ... senior middle blocker Jennifer Doris headlines the league with a .451 attack mark and junior middle blocker Rachael Adams is No. 2 in the conference with a .431 hitting percentage ... Adams ranks third with 1.28 blocks per-set and senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette ranks third with 4.81 points and 4.19 kills per-set

Texas ranks No. 13 in the NCAA RPI released on Nov. 22 ... Texas opponents in the RPI include No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Nebraska, No. 4 Illinois, No. 5 Stanford, No. 19 Iowa State, No. 26 Oklahoma and No. 36 Long Beach State.
LONE STAR STATE DOMINANCE
Since head coach Jerritt Elliott arrived in Austin, the Longhorns have emerged as the dominant volleyball program in the state of Texas ... the Longhorns have posted a 77-8 (.906) record against in-state opponents during the Elliott era, including an 20-0 mark against Texas Tech and an 19-1 mark against Baylor ... before Texas' loss to Texas A&M on Sept. 16, 2010, UT had won 47-straight matches versus in-state foes with the streak dating back to Oct. 16, 2004.
KOCHER BACK AT THE HELM
Junior setter Michelle Kocher's career at Texas has been a self-described rollercoaster and she is back on the ascent since taking over for an injured Hannah Allison on Oct. 16 ... since taking the reins, Kocher has led the Horns to a .348 team hitting percentage and is averaging 13.43 assists and 2.29 digs per-set and led UT to an 10-0 record ... Kocher was a full-time starter in 2008 and won Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors en route to leading Texas to the NCAA Semifinals and joined the lineup in UT's 6-2 system midseason in 2009 to help the Horns to the NCAA Finals ... as a starter, Kocher owns a career record of 45-4 and UT has not lost a match she has started since the 2008 NCAA Semifinals.

Texas is currently riding its longest winning streak of the season with its 13-match run ... the Longhorns are also riding a 24-match home winning streak against Big 12 Conference foes, which dates back to Nov. 1, 2008.
