Texas ranks No. 13 in the NCAA RPI released on Nov. 15 ... Texas opponents in the RPI include No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Illinois, No. 3 Stanford, No. 5 Nebraska, No. 18 Iowa State, No. 25 Long Beach State and No. 27 Oklahoma.

HORNS KEEP ROLLING
The Horns extended their season-best winning streak to 12 matches when they defeated Missouri, 3-0 on Nov. 17 ... senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette headlined the Horns attack with 16 kills and hit at a .324 clip ... junior middle blocker Rachael Adams reemerged in the middle connecting for 11 kills on .714 hitting, while junior outside hitter Amber Roberson returned from a two-match hiatus to log nine kills and hit .273.

UT IN THE BIG 12 STATS
Through 17 Big 12 matches the Longhorns are blanketing the stats in conference matches and lead the league with .311 team hitting percentage ... senior middle blocker Jennifer Doris headlines the league with a .444 attack mark and junior middle blocker Rachael Adams is No. 2 in the conference with a .434 hitting percentage ... Adams ranks third with 1.32 blocks per-set.

FAUCETTE’S CAREER WEEK NETS BIG 12 POW HONORS
Senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette shouldered the load for the Longhorns attack for the week, willing Texas to a pair of road victories at Baylor and at Texas Tech en route to claiming her second Big 12 Player of the Week (Nov. 15) honor of the year and the fourth of her career ... she continued her recent hot stint, pushing her streak of consecutive matches with 24 or more kills to three straight ... on the week she averaged 7.06 points, 6.75 kills and 2.75 digs per-set, while hitting at a red hot .398 clip ... she notched a career-high 30 kills in UT’s victory at Baylor.

ACADEMIA
Texas landed six players on the 2010 Academic All-Big 12 Team ... senior middle blocker Jennifer Doris and junior libero Sydney Yogi each earned spots on the first team, while senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette, junior middle blocker Rachael Adams, junior setter Michelle Kocher and sophomore opposite hitter Sha’Dare McNeal claimed places on the second team.

HORNS NOTCH 20TH WIN
Head coach Jerritt Elliott and the Longhorns are 20-5 on the year and have captured its seventh-straight season with 20 or more victories ... in each of the last six years, UT has posted no fewer than 24 wins.

KOCHER BACK AT THE HELM
Junior setter Michelle Kocher’s career at Texas has been a self-described rollercoaster and she is back on the ascent since taking over for an injured Hannah Allison on Oct. 16 ... since taking the reins, Kocher has led the Horns to a .348 team hitting percentage and is averaging 13.32 assists and 2.23 digs per-set and led UT to an 9-0 record ... Kocher was a full-time starter in 2008 and won Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors en route to leading Texas to the NCAA Semifinals and joined the lineup in UT’s 6-2 system midseason in 2009 to help the Horns to the NCAA Finals ... as a starter, Kocher owns a career record of 44-4 and UT has not lost a match she has started since the 2008 NCAA Semifinals.

STREAKING HORNS
Texas is currently riding its longest winning streak of the season with its 12-match run ... the Longhorns are also riding a 23-match  home winning streak against Big 12 Conference foes, which dates back to Nov. 1, 2008.

LAST TIME VS. KANSAS (Nov. 19)
Junior outside hitter Amber Roberson hammered out 19 kills to lift Texas to a 3-0 (29-27, 25-21, 25-17) win at Kansas ... Roberson led the way with her .395 hitting effort and added eight digs, while junior middle blocker Rachael Adams connected for 11 kills on .562 hitting ... senior middle blocker Jennifer Doris added 10 kills in the win and senior All-America outside hitter Juliann Faucette chipped in nine kills.
