FAUCETTE FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS
The Horns extended their season-best winning streak to 10 matches when they defeated Baylor, 3-1 on Nov. 10 ... senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette headlined the Horns attack with a career-high kill total for the second-straight match ... she hammered out 30 kills on .364 hitting and added 15 digs ... she is averaging 7.25 kills and 2.75 digs per-set, while hitting .368 in her last two matches.
TEXAS IN THE BIG 12 STATS
Through 15 Big 12 matches the Longhorns are blanketing the stats in conference matches and lead the league with .303 team hitting percentage ... senior middle blocker Jennifer Doris headlines the league with a .463 attack mark and junior middle blocker Rachael Adams is No. 2 in the conference with a .445 hitting percentage ... Adams ranks second with 1.38 blocks per-set and ranks seventh in points (3.93).
LONE STAR STATE DOMINANCE
Since head coach Jerritt Elliott arrived in Austin, the Longhorns have emerged as the dominant volleyball program in the state of Texas ... the Longhorns have posted a 76-8 (.905) record against in-state opponents during the Elliott era, including an 19-0 mark against Texas Tech and an 19-1 mark against Baylor ... before Texas' loss to Texas A&M on Sept. 16, 2010, UT had won 47-straight matches versus in-state foes with the streak dating back to Oct. 16, 2004.
KOCHER BACK AT THE HELM
Junior setter Michelle Kocher's career at Texas has been a self-described rollercoaster and she is back on the ascent since taking over for an injured Hannah Allison on Oct. 16 ... since taking the reins, Kocher has led the Horns to a .341 team hitting percentage and is averaging 13.42 assists and 2.50 digs per-set and led UT to a 7-0 record ... Kocher was a full-time starter in 2008 and won Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors en route to leading Texas to the NCAA Semifinals and joined the lineup in UT's 6-2 system midseason in 2009 to help the Horns to the NCAA Finals.
Texas is currently riding its longest winning streak of the season with its 10-match run ... the Longhorns are also riding a 22-match home winning streak against Big 12 Conference foes, which dates back to Nov. 1, 2008.

Senior All-America outside hitter Juliann Faucette registered a career-high 30 kills including a set-changing seven kills late in the third to lift Texas to a 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-17) win over Baylor ... the Longhorns erased a 19-10 deficit in the third to win the stanza and set the tone for the remainder of the night ... Faucette hit .364 on the night and set a new career high kill total for the second-straight match ... she added 15 digs to her stat line for her 18th career kill/dig double-double ... sophomore opposite hitter Sha'Dare McNeal added 11 kills and 12 digs, while middle blockers Rachael Adams and Jennifer Doris posted 10 kills each with Adams chipping in eight blocks.
LAST TIME VS. TEXAS TECH (Oct. 16)
Texas used a then-career-high 17-kill performance by junior outside hitter Amber Roberson to sweep past Texas Tech ...
