Junior setter Michelle Kocher was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Oct. 25 after leading UT to wins over Kansas and Kansas State ... Kocher paced UT to a .379 hitting percentage in its two victories, while averaging 14.00 assists per-set and 2.83 digs per-set ... she recorded a season-high 49 assists in UT’s win at Kansas, added nine digs and led the Horns to a .425 attack mark ... agaisnt Kansas State, she registered 35 assists, eight digs and paced the Longhorns to a .330 team hitting mark.

In the most recent edition of the NCAA stats (Oct. 25) the Longhorns rank seventh nationally with their .289 team hitting percentage ...
