Quick hits with Jennifer Todd

Making the move for the Pac 10 to the Big 12, junior middle blocker Jennifer Todd has become a strong reserve off the Longhorn's bench. The 2004 Honorable Mention All-Pacific 10 Conference honoree and Henderson, Nev., native has come to UT to show what she can contribute on and off the volleyball court.

Recently, Todd took some time to give a better perspective into her personality by answering a few "Quick Hits."

Q: If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be?
JT: "Oprah, of course! Who wouldn't want to be her?"

Q: What is your dream job?
JT: "This is going to sound stupid, but a big famous singer of some kind."

Q: What do you do in your free time?
JT: "I usually watch TV and sleep."

Q: What is it like playing in Gregory Gym?
JT: "It's an awesome feeling. You are really able to get a sense of intimacy for the fans."

Q: Is there any significance to your jersey number (33)?
JT: "Well, I'd had always been number three, but when I got here I learned that Lauren Paolini already grabbed it so I just added on another three."

Q: Name the three things you cannot live without.
JT: "Tootsie Rolls, water and music."

Q: What is your salad dressing of choice?
JT: "Just boring old' ranch."

Q: What has been the best thing at UT so far for you?
JT: "The atmosphere of Gregory on a game night."

Q: Where is the best place you have been since arriving in Austin?
JT: "Mt. Bonnell. It has a great view overlooking the lake and all the big houses."

Q: Describe your perfect vacation.
JT: "A road trip from Las Vegas to my grandma's house in San Diego."

Q: What do people notice about you within the first hour of meeting you?
JT: "People will usually see that I am kind of quiet, but once they get to know me they learn I have a sarcastic sense of humor."

Q: What household chore do you dislike the most?
JT: "I hate cleaning the bathroom and my mom always makes me clean the whole thing."
