Volleyball jams: Identify the iPod
A love of music is universal with the Texas volleyball team. Head coach Jerritt Elliott says he recruits players to win national championships, but it also seems that he recruits players who have an undying love of music, as well. Since the Horns received iPod Minis last year as a team gift for advancing to the NCAA "Sweet 16", almost every player and staff member has one to keep him or her occupied. And it's not just the veterans; even the newcomers have joined the "iPod Revolution". Whenever there's any downtime, you can find the tell-tale white ear buds of an iPod sticking out of the Longhorns' ears, be it arriving at practice, walking around campus, on the bus, in the airport, on the planes or at the hotel.
