The most productive part of the Longhorns game this season has been serving as they have averaged 1.48 service aces per-set ... Texas ranks No. 1 in the Big 12 in aces per-set and is 7-1 when registering more service aces than its opponents ... senior outside hitter Juliann Faucette is UT's best weapon from behind the service stripe and she ranks second in the Big 12 with 0.40 aces per-set, while freshman setter Hannah Allison ranks third with 0.32 aces per-set.

ADAMS REIGNS AS BIG 12 POW
Junior middle blocker Rachael Adams registered 4.22 points per-set and hit .473 last week to earn the first Big 12 Conference Player of the Week award of her career (Oct. 4) ... she headlined Texas' attack, averaging 3.67 kills per-set and adding a team-best 1.11 blocks per-set ... she led the Horns in points, kills and blocks in both of its matches ... in UT's 3-2 victory over Iowa State, Adams posted a career-high 18 kills and 20 points, hit at a .519 clip and posted four total blocks ... Adams was the center of the offense again in a 3-1 loss at Nebraska, registering a team-best 15 kills and hitting at a .429 clip.
