Volleyball fact attack: Dream job
Throughout the 2006 season, Volleyball will answer some quick questions posed by TexasSports.com, allowing fans some insight into the unique individuals that make up the 11th-ranked Longhorns. This week, the players revealed their dream jobs. Ashley Engle: I would want to be a sideline reporter for ESPN football, because half the time the women who do it don't know what they are talking about and they can't even look the player in the eye because they are so short. So I think I would have an advantage there. Jen Todd: My dream job is to be a personal shopper for someone who is very rich, so that I can spend all their money. Head Coach Jerritt Elliot: I would want to be a stay at home dad with my kids. Jen Christian: My dream job is to work next to Kirk Herbstreit on ESPN College Football Game Day because I love him and we're from the same town (Dayton, Ohio). Lauren Paolini: I want to be a pro beach volleyball player because I would not only be playing volleyball, but I would be getting tan and at the beach all day. Leticia Armstrong: I would be a model because you get to meet a lot of people and wear a lot of great clothes. Destinee Hooker: My dream job is to design clothes for my own huge fashion label and everyone would want my clothes. It's hard for athletes to find clothes to fit our heights, so it would be easier for me just to design my own clothes. Heather Kisner: I want to be a movie star's personal trainer because I'd be working with the stars while staying fit. Jenny Andrew: I would love to be in Austin being the big time recruiter for a corporation or for a university. I would get to basically wine and dine people, show them the city and convince people to do business with the company. RuthAnn Feist: I'd love to be a big time fashion designer like Betsy Johnson. It would be awesome to see people walk down the runway wearing my designs. Kiley Hall: I want to be a country music star because I enjoy country, but I am tone deaf. Alyson Jennings: I want to be a movie star because then I'd be rich and famous. Brandy Magee: I would want to be a rock star so I can be famous and people will love me. Michelle Moriarty: I want to be a NFL quarterback! Assistant Coach Tonya Johnson: I'd want to win the lottery and travel all over the world.
