Hey Y’all, Wow, what an action-packed week we had! Not only was it our first time to play at home, but we had hurricane Ike hit our great state. First, I would like to start off this entry by sending our thoughts and prayers to all of our family and friends. We hope that everyone stayed safe and returned home safely. I am going to keep this week’s journal short and sweet because it is already a hectic week as we begin preparing for our Big 12 opener. Thanks to all of y’all who came out to support us this past week at the Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational. It was great to finally be back on our home court and in front of our awesome fans. Thursday night we took on Texas State and followed that up with a doubleheader against Houston and Georgia on Friday. The tournament was the last in our nonconference schedule before kicking off Big 12 play this Saturday. We get things going this Saturday on the road in Nebraska at 7 p.m. We are looking forward to playing a great team and getting the conference season rolling.
