Volleyball block party and children's clinic scheduled for Aug. 23

· RSVP for the Texas Volleyball Block Party It's time to celebrate the kickoff to another great season of Texas Volleyball at the annual block party! Bring out the whole family or team on Saturday, Aug. 23 for fun, food, and a chance to hang out with the Texas Volleyball team. Gregory Gym hosts the day's festivities, which begin at 3:30 p.m. with a free children's clinic. Kids entering the eighth grade and below will have the opportunity to learn skills and tips from their favorite players and coaches. The defending Big 12 Champion Texas Volleyball team returns four All-Americans to its 2008 squad. Catch your first glimpse of the 2008 Texas Longhorns when they play an intrasquad exhibition match at 5 p.m. The exhibition match is free and open to the general public. After all the action, fans can reserve a seat for a Chick-fil-A dinner with Texas Volleyball coaches, players, and exes for only $5.
