Volleyball/Football Texas Two Step: Aug. 20

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas Two Step is the ultimate autograph outing for Texas Volleyball and Football fans. For the fourth-straight year Gregory Gymnasium hosts the event with the Longhorns opening the doors to Gregory on Saturday, Aug. 20 for Volleyball's Orange/White game and Football's annual autograph day. This year the Volleyball team is adding a free kids' clinic for participants in eighth grade or younger. The one-hour kids' clinic run by Texas players and coaches begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Gregory Gym annex. Following the clinic the team begins warming up at 1 p.m. in the arena and the Orange/White scrimmage begins at 2 p.m. Check Mack-BrownTexasFootball.com for information regarding the timing of the Football autograph session. The special event provides an opportunity for Texas fans to meet their favorite student-athletes from both teams. Additionally, fans can catch their first glimpse of the Volleyball team as it competes for the first time in 2011. The best place for fans to park for the event is the Brazos Garage (BRG) off of MLK Boulevard. Those interested in only attending Volleyball's scrimmage can enter without waiting in the Football lines. Enter through the main doors and go upstairs to the arena. A set of bleachers will be set up in the west end zone.
