No. 22 Women's Cross Country lands four on All-Region team

NEW ORLEANS - Four runners from the No. 22 Texas Women's Cross Country program earned All-Region accolades following the team's second-place performance at the NCAA South Central Region meet, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced today.
Juniors Marielle Hall, Sara Sutherland and Megan Siebert and senior Laleh Mojtabaeezamani each received the honor after finishing in the Top 25 individually last Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark. Hall and Sutherland, who finished first and second in the meet, and Mojtabaeezamani (13th) each captured their third All-Region award while Siebert (14th) picked up her second.
Texas will compete in its third-straight NCAA Cross Country Championships this Saturday, Nov. 17 in Louisville, Ky. Hosted by the University of Louisville, the women's 6,000-meter and men's 10,000-meter races will be run at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park on the same course as was used for the Pre-Nationals invitational earlier in the season, where the Longhorn women finished fifth. The women's race is scheduled for 10 a.m. Central while the men will compete at 11:15 a.m.
