Marshevet Hooker finishes 200m in 23.07 to advance to round two at Summer Olympics

BEIJING -- Former University of Texas standout Marshevet Hooker ran a 23.07 in the 200-meter opening round Monday night to earn a spot in Tuesday's second round. Hooker, competing in her first Olympics, finished first in heat three. USA's Muna Lee claimed the fastest time of the night clocking in at 22.71. The next round will take place at 6:21 a.m. Tuesday.
