FSN Southwest to air tape-delayed Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships
AUSTIN, Texas -- The FSN Southwest network will air two hours of tape-delayed programming on Saturday, May 20 from last weekend's Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships contested at Baylor's Hart-Patterson Track and Field Complex. The highlights program will air Saturday at 1 p.m. CDT on FSN Southwest and will be televised once more on FSN Southwest in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area on Sunday, May 21 at 2 p.m. CDT. The University of Texas men's and women's teams each won the Big 12 outdoor team titles at the meet held from May 12-14 in Waco. The Texas men captured the overall title with 135 points on the strength of five titles, including shot put and discus crowns from senior Brian Robison (Splendora, Texas). The Texas women claimed the overall title with 131 points behind six titles, including three individual crowns from junior Marshevet Hooker (San Antonio, Texas), who also anchored the 4x100-meter relay team to victory.
