FSN to broadcast tape-delayed Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championship
DALLAS -- Fox Sports Net Southwest will air two hours of tape-delayed programming from the 2007 Big 12 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday, May 18 at 11:30 a.m. CT and Saturday, May 19 at 1 p.m. CT in the Austin viewing area. The program includes interviews from Big 12 coaches and student-athletes, and video footage of the competition.
The championship took place last weekend at Ed Weir Stadium in Lincoln, Neb. The University of Texas men's and women's track and field teams finished in third-place in the team standings. The Oklahoma men won its first Big 12 outdoor championship while Texas A&M's women's team completed its sweep of the indoor and outdoor league titles.
The Longhorns are idle this weekend, returning to action at the 2007 NCAA Midwest Regional at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa from Friday to Saturday, May 25-26.
