Women's Track and Field remains in top 10 in both national polls
AUSTIN, Texas -- Even with the weekend off from competition, the Texas women's track and field team remained in the Top 10 in both national polls. UT is ranked No. 7 in the nation in both major track and field national polls - the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association poll and Trackwire Top 25 ratings. UT did not compete last weekend after hosting the 80th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays the weekend prior. The Longhorns return to the track for the final home meet of the year -- the Texas Invitational on Saturday, April 21 in Austin. The field events begin at 2 p.m. CT with the triple jump while the running events are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. CT with the 3,000-meter run.
