ESPN2 to broadcast NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships highlights
University of Texas track and field enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch the 2007 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships as the highlights of the indoor championship will be broadcast on Tuesday, March 13 at 1:30 pm (CT). The University of Texas women's track and field team registered its' fifth consecutive top 10 indoor national team finish, and brought home nine All-American honors behind one relay, two sprinters and three field event competitors. Senior Michelle Carter (Ovilla, Texas) finished as an NCAA runner-up in the shot put and sophomore high jumper Destinee Hooker (San Antonio, Texas) tied for third to earn her second consecutive indoor All-American honor and third overall. UT opens the outdoor season at the UNLV from Friday to Saturday, March 16-17 in Miami, Fla. Complete results will be available at the conclusion of the each day of the multi-day meet.
