Anderson and Hooker already in...
Senior sprinter Alexandria Anderson has qualified for the 2009 NCAA Indoor Meet after reaching the automatic standard in the 60 and 200-meter events at the Big 12 Championships. Anderson ran a season-best 7.26 in the 60 prelims and followed that up with a 23.19 in the 200 prelims to qualify for nationals.

Junior high jumper Destinee Hooker reached the automatic mark in her first event of the season with a 6-3.25 clearance at the Leonard Hilton Memorial (Jan.16). Hooker has since met the AQ in two events, including her most recent clearance of 6-4 that shares the national lead in the event and won her the 2009 Big 12 Indoor High Jump Title.
