Amthor, Behm and Hall named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country team

Three members of the Texas women's cross country team, juniors Julie Amthor and Mia Behm and freshman Marielle Hall were named to the Division I All-Academic Cross Country team by the USTFCCCA. Amthor, a biology honors/pre-med major boasts a 3.95 GPA and finished sixth at the NCAA South Central Regional. The junior was a 2010 All-Academic Big 12 selection and was valedictorian of her high school class at Smithson Valley High School.
Behm earned her third selection to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team. She has also been selected to the All-Big 12 Academic team twice. Behm holds a 3.39 GPA in advertising and earned All-America and All-Region honors for her performance during the 2010 cross country season. A freshman from Haddonfield, N.J., Hall was named to her first USTFCCCA All-Academic team. Hall posted a fifth-place finish at the NCAA South Central Regional and was named to the All-Region team. She has a 3.33 GPA in undergraduate studies.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have either earned USTFCCCA All-America status or finished in the NCAA region's top 15 (or top 10 percent) in 2010.
