FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Juniors Marielle Hall and Sara Sutherland crossed the finish line 1-2 to guide the No. 22 Texas Women's Cross Country team to a second-place team finish at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships on Friday morning at Agri Park.

In the process, the Longhorns earned their third-straight trip to the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Senior Laleh Mojtabaeezamani (21:24.5) and junior Megan Siebert (21:30.7) finished back-to-back in 13th and 14th with junior Brittany Marches crossing 38th (22:20.8) to round out scoring for Texas.  Freshman Kendall Howen (41st, 22:22.2) and junior Jessica Harper (46th, 22:28.7) also competed Friday for UT.

Hall, Sutherland, Mojtabaeezamani and Siebert each earned All-South Central Region accolades for their races.  The honor was the third for Hall, Sutherland and Mojtabaeezamani while Siebert picked up her second.

The 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships will take place Saturday, Nov. 17 in Louisville, Ky.  Hosted by the University of Louisville, the women's 6,000-meter and men's 10,000-meter races will be run at E.P.
