· Posted highest height of the season with a 10-6 (3.20m) mark at the Rice Bayou Classic for ninth place.
· Finished 10th in the pole vault at the Texas Twilight with a mark of 10-2 (3.10m).

Indoor (Freshman):
· Cleared 10-6 (3.20m) in the pole vault for 14th place at the Houston All-Comer's meet.
· Tied for 13th at the Leonard Hilton Memorial in the pole vault with a mark of 10-4 (3.15m).

PRIOR TO TEXAS
· Four-year letter winner in track and field, cross country and cheerleading at Mathis High School ... also competed on the volleyball squad for three years.
· Was the district and regional pole vault champ as a senior en route to placing third in the event at the state championship.
· Pole vault district champion as a junior, also a regional qualifier in cross country.
· District cross country champ during sophomore season ... regional qualifier in the pole vault.

Born Oct. 30, 1987 in Corpus Christi to Valentin and Alma Moreno ... member of the National Honor Society ... was the salutatorian at Mathis High School.
