Walk-on jumper who adds depth to the long and triple jumps.
2007-08
Outdoor (Freshman):
· Placed 19th in the long jump at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a mark of 5.53m...also notched a 22nd place effort in the triple jump (11.57m).
· Ran the 100m in a season-best time of 12.80 at the Texas Invitational for 13th.
· Posted a 17th-place effort in the 200m at the Texas Invitational, crossing the line in 26.41.
Indoor (Freshman):
· Captured 16th (17-2.75, 5.25m) in the Long Jump at the Big 12 Indoor Championships...also placed 18th in the triple jump (36-4.25, 11.65m).
· Recorded career best mark in the long jump (17-4, 5.28m) for seventh place at the Illinois Quad.
· Set personal bests in the triple jump (38-7, 11.76m) and the 200-meter dash (25.95) at the Tyson Invitational.
· Took first in the long jump at the Houston Indoor with a mark of 17-2.75 (5.25m)...also posted a 13th place finish in the 200m (26.42).
PRIOR TO TEXAS
· Four-year letterwinner and Academic All-State selection for coach Brian Kula at Littleton High School.
· Placed second in the long jump at the 2007 Colorado Class 5A State Championships.
· Ran on the 4x400-meter relay that finished in the top three in each of the last three seasons... added a second-place finish as a leg of the 4x200-meter relay in 2006.
· Finished fourth in the 400 at the state championships meet.
· Boasts prep personal bests of 18-1 in the long jump and 57.91 in the quarter mile.
· Ran club track for two seasons with ATS Elite.
· Honor Roll selection who carried a 4.2 grade-point average at LHS... also involved in National Honor Society and Key Club.
