PRIOR TO TEXAS

Ran the 1,500m, 5,000m and 3,000m Steeplechase and was a member of the cross country team at New Mexico ... was previously a member of the Dallas Metroplex Striders from 2007-09 under coach Terry Jessup, running cross country and outdoor track & field (1600m, 3200m) ... all-state in track (four years) and cross country (two years) at Liberty Christian School ... TAPPS 4A state champion in cross country as a senior ... also won 4A state titles during her senior campaign in the the 3,200m and 1,600m, setting a new TAPPS 4A state record in the Mile.
