PRIOR TO TEXAS
-Three-year track and field letterwinner at Westlake High School in Austin under head coach Debbie Wingfield.
-District pole vault champ as a senior...also a regional and state qualifier.
-During junior season, won the district championshipin the pole vault and qualified for regoinals.

Born Sept. 25, 1990 to Richard and Reasa Ballou in Atlanta, Ga.... has two siblings -- Matthew and Julianne...Avademic All-District all four years of high school (2004-08).
