COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- University of Texas seniors Mia Marovic (Split, Croatia) and Kendra Strohm (Tucson, Ariz.) scored a commanding quarterfinal victory Monday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southwest Regional Championships at Texas A&M's Mitchell Tennis Center.

Facing Baylor's third-seeded duo of Daniella Covello and Carolin Walter, Marovic and Strohm collected an 8-2 victory to move on to the semifinals.

The seventh-seeded Texas tandem will take on Texas A&M's Anna Blagoderova and Tiffany Clifford on Tuesday at 10 a.m. CDT in College Station. The finals are slated for 12:30 p.m. CDT.
