Lineups set for ITA All-American prequalifying draw
AUSTIN, Texas -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released the singles draw for the ITA/Riviera All-American Championships prequalifying round.
Junior Ristine Olson (Missoula, Mont.) opens play in the 64-player singles prequalifying round on Saturday at 11 a.m. Central against Nebraska's Milena Schulz-Gartner. Sophomore Courtney Zauft (San Antonio, Texas) also begins play at 11 a.m. against Isabelle Mignot of New Mexico State.
Freshman Marija Milic (Etobicoke, Ontario) will make her collegiate debut Saturday when she takes on Utah's Elizabeth Ferris at 12:30 p.m. Central. Senior Kelly Baritot (Allison Park, Pa.) will join Zauft in the doubles prequalifying draw, where they will meet Pepperdine's Jelena Jovic and Merve Asimgil. That match is set for 5:30 p.m. Central on Saturday.
Should Olson and Zauft each win two prequalifying matches, they would meet in the round of 16 with a berth in the qualifying round at stake.
