Women's Tennis trio earns ITA Scholar-Athlete status

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced the selections of University of Texas rising sophomores Alex Martin, Lina Padegimaite and Annat Rabinovich as ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2011-12 academic year. Student-athletes may earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status by earning a varsity letter, maintaining a minimum 3.50 GPA for the academic year and by being enrolled at their current institution for at least two semesters. Martin, Padegimaite and Rabinovich also earned selections to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2011-12 season.
