LAST MEETINGS WITH TEXAS A&M: Texas scored a pair of 4-3 victories over Texas A&M during the 2007 season. The Longhorns outlasted the Aggies on April 17, 2007 in Austin and on April 28, 2007 in the Big 12 Championship semifinals in Kansas City, Mo. Texas has taken the last three meetings in the series. UT's last win in College Station came on April 20, 2004, when Texas defeated Texas A&M by a 4-3 count.

THE 2008 LONGHORNS: With victories in its last six matches, Texas sits alongside No. 6 Baylor atop the Big 12 standings. After Wednesday's match, Texas wraps up the regular season at home against Baylor on Saturday, April 19 and Texas Tech on Sunday, April 20.

Notably, Texas' April 19 home contest against Baylor precedes the Texas-Texas A&M men's match at Penick-Allison Tennis Center. The Texas-Baylor women's match begins at noon Central, and the Texas-Texas A&M men's match gets underway at 4 p.m. Central.

Texas returns six letterwinners from the 2007 squad that totaled an 18-12 record, reached the NCAA round of 32 and claimed a share of the Big 12 Conference regular season championship.

UT is led by sophomore Vanja Corovic, the 2007 Big 12 Conference Freshman and Newcomer of the Year, who earned a berth in the 64-player singles draw at the 2007 NCAA Championship.

Texas also returns All-Big 12 singles standout Stephanie Davison and junior Marija Milic, who earned All-Big 12 doubles honors alongside Corovic last season.
