WHEN: OSU on Friday, March 14 at 11 a.m. Central; OU on Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. Central LIVE SCORING: None ITA RANKINGS UPDATE: Texas ranks 18th in the March 11 release of the ITA team rankings. Oklahoma State and Oklahoma are unranked. LAST MEETING WITH OKLAHOMA STATE: Texas defeated Oklahoma State by a 6-1 count on April 14, 2007 in Austin. LAST MEETING WITH OKLAHOMA: Texas defeated Oklahoma by a 6-1 margin on March 25, 2007 in Austin. THE 2008 LONGHORNS: Texas returns six letterwinners from the 2007 squad that totaled an 18-12 record, reached the NCAA round of 32 and claimed a share of the Big 12 Conference regular season championship. UT is led by sophomore Vanja Corovic, the 2007 Big 12 Conference Freshman and Newcomer of the Year, who earned a berth in the 64-player singles draw at the 2007 NCAA Championship. Texas also returns All-Big 12 singles standout Stephanie Davison and junior Marija Milic, who earned All-Big 12 doubles honors alongside Corovic last season. Texas returned to the top 25 of the ITA team rankings last week when it moved to No. 16 in the first edition of the computer rankings. Texas was idle last week and slipped to No. 18 in this week's rankings.
