Texas Tennis Weather Updates
March 9, 2012 UPDATE: March 9, 1 p.m. CT: The Texas-SMU women's tennis match scheduled for Saturday, March 10 has been canceled. All Texas Tennis matches scheduled to be played in Austin on Saturday have been cancelled. The Texas-Michigan match is still scheduled to be played on Sunday, March 11 at 11 a.m. Central. AUSTIN, Texas – The threat of inclement weather Thursday and Saturday has resulted in changes to this week’s men’s and women’s tennis schedules. Today’s Texas-William & Mary women’s tennis match is still scheduled for a 2 p.m. start, though the match will begin with singles. Tonight’s Texas-San Diego men’s tennis match has been moved up one hour to a 5 p.m. start and also will begin with singles. Saturday’s Texas-Nicholls State men’s tennis match has been canceled. The match has yet to be rescheduled. Saturday’s men’s tennis match against Florida State (11 a.m.) and the women’s tennis match against SMU (3 p.m.) remain as scheduled.
