WHAT: No. 25 Texas (1-1) resumes the 2008 dual-match season against No. 35 TCU (0-0) WHERE: Penick-Allison Tennis Center - Austin, Texas WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 9 - Noon Central LAST MEETING WITH TCU: TCU defeated Texas by a 4-0 count in the second round of the 2006 NCAA Championship at TCU's Friedman Tennis Center. ITA RANKINGS UPDATE: Texas holds the No. 25 spot in the Feb. 5 release of the ITA team rankings. The doubles duo of junior Marija Milic and sophomore Vanja Corovic hold the No. 25 spot in the ITA doubles rankings. ABOUT TEXAS: The Longhorns return six letterwinners from the 2007 squad that totaled an 18-12 record, reached the NCAA round of 32 and claimed a share of the Big 12 Conference regular season championship. UT is led by sophomore Vanja Corovic, the 2007 Big 12 Conference Freshman and Newcomer of the Year, who earned a berth in the 64-player singles draw at the 2007 NCAA Championship. Texas also returns All-Big 12 singles standout Stephanie Davison and junior Marija Milic, who earned All-Big 12 doubles honors alongside Corovic last season.
