Women's Tennis to participate in Rally for the Cure event

AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas women’s tennis program is set to participate in the third annual Rally for the Cure event scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4 at Barton Creek Country Club in Austin. The Longhorns will conduct a tennis clinic and exhibition from 9 a.m. to noon. Proceeds from the $25 tax-deductible registration fees will benefit a local breast cancer research organization. “We are excited to participate in the third annual Rally for the Cure at Barton Creek Country Club,” said UT head coach Patty Fendick-McCain. “This is a cause that has hit us quite close to our hearts. We are very pleased to support the fight against breast cancer. Our student-athletes love participating in the event and doing their part.” Those interested in participating in the event may register by contacting the Barton Creek Country Club pro shop at (512) 329-4008.
