LOS ANGELES -- Texas sophomore Aeriel Ellis posted a straight-set win over Utah's Anastasia Putilina and earned a berth in the finals of the consolation singles draw Saturday on day eight of the ITA All-American Championships.

Ellis won handily by a 6-1, 6-1 count to reach the finals of the 16-player draw.  Ellis is set to take on either Florida's Allie Will or Georgia Tech's Noelle Hickey in Sunday's finals.
