Women's Tennis adds six wins on day two of Miami Spring Invite
Jan. 19, 2013 CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Five singles wins and a win over a top-10 doubles opponent highlighted day two for the Longhorns at the four-team Miami Spring Invite. Freshman Breaunna Addison and sophomore Noel Scottproduced an 8-3 win over Texas A&M's seventh-ranked tandem of Stefania Hristov and Cristina Stancu. The Longhorns took on Vanderbilt in the singles competition and won four of seven matches. Addison posted her second win in as many days and registered a 6-3, 6-2 defeat of Vanderbilt's Lauren Mira. The 79th-ranked Scott added a 6-2, 6-3 win over Vanderbilt's 91st-ranked Marie Casares, and Ellis posted a 6-1, 6-2 win over Vandy's Ashleigh Antal. Sophomore Annat Rabinovich scored a decisive 6-2, 6-2 win over Vanderbilt's Maggie Leavell. The Miami Spring Invite concludes on Sunday in Coral Gables. Miami Spring Invite - Day 2 Recap Doubles
