Women's Diving preview: NCAA Zone D Diving Meet
WHAT: The NCAA Zone "D" Diving Meet is one of five regional-diving meets scheduled this weekend to determine the diving qualifiers for the upcoming NCAA Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. WHEN: Friday, March 14-Sunday, March 16 Meet Schedule Saturday, March 15 Sunday, March 16 WHERE: Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium - Houston, Texas QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: Below is the rank of criteria utilized to determine the qualifiers for the NCAA Championships; the criteria are utilized until five men and eight women are selected. For example, in accordance to the listing below, if women's diver A wins the one-meter, three-meter and platform events, only one bid is taken by that diver, and seven bids still remain available. If three divers win the platform, one-meter and three-meter events, three bids are awarded and five remain. Bids are not subtracted from a zone if one diver wins two or more events; the progression down the list of criteria continues until five male divers and eight female divers are selected.
