WHAT: No. 17 Texas resumes competition when it visits No. 14 SMU in its final dual meet of the season. WHERE: Perkins Natatorium - Dallas, Texas WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 9 - noon Central LAST TIME OUT: The Longhorns dropped a 174-124 decision to No. 6 Texas A&M on Saturday, Feb. 2. LAST MEETING WITH SMU: Texas defeated SMU by a 204-147 count on Jan. 19-20, 2007 in Austin. ABOUT TEXAS: Texas returns six All-Americans from the 2007 squad that placed sixth at the NCAA Championships. Leading the way is junior Hee-Jin Chang, who ranks eighth in the nation in the 50 freestyle (22.62). Diving coach Matt Scoggin returns All-America divers Mary Yarrison and Kathryn Kelly. Yarrison placed seventh in the three-meter event and ninth in the one-meter event at the 2007 NCAA Championships, and Kelly placed eighth in the one-meter event. Yarrison also claimed the one-meter event at the 2007 USA Spring National Championships. NATIONAL RANKS: Several Longhorns are featured prominently in USA Swimming's latest release of the top college swimming times in the country.
