Livingston tabbed Big 12 Women's Diver of the Week

IRVING, Texas -- The Big 12 Conference selected University of Texas senior diver Jessica Livingston as its co-Big 12 Women's Diver of the Week Wednesday after the All-American secured season-best scores in the third-ranked Longhorns' win last week at No. 8 Texas A&M. Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) held off Texas A&M's Jaele Patrick to win the three-meter event with 343.35 points. She added a second-place showing with 295.88 points in the one-meter event. Livingston shared the Big 12 Women's Diver of the Week selection with Patrick. It marks the second such honor for Livingston, a finalist at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials. Livingston and the Longhorns return to action on Friday, Jan. 30 when they host No. 2 Arizona at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
