Kelly, Livingston take one-meter event at Auburn
Jan. 7, 2009 AUBURN, Ala. -- With the Texas-Auburn men's and women's swimming and diving meet set to begin Thursday at Auburn, the Longhorns' and Tigers' diving squads kicked off the competition a day early with the one-meter diving event won by Texas' Kathryn Kelly and Drew Livingston. Kelly claimed the women's one-meter event with 314.55 points. UT freshman Lauren Caldwell took third with 266.70 points, and senior Jessica Livingston placed fourth with 263.70 points. Freshman Shelby Cullinan took sixth with 224.10 points. On the men's side, UT's Drew Livingston took top honors with 357.82 points. Texas sophomore Matt Cooper placed fourth with 327.00 points, and senior Jonathan Wilcox took sixth with 316.05 points. The swimming events and the men's and women's three-meter diving events get underway Thursday at 3 p.m. Central.
