This week’s question is: “What is your dream play to make on the field?” Lexy Bennett (No. 51): My dream play is hitting a walk off grand slam. Kim Bruins (No. 2): My dream play is to pitch a perfect game. Courtney Craig (No. 25): My dream play is to rob a home run from going over the fence. Krissie Fountain (No. 9): My dream play would be a walk-off home run in the NCAA Women’s College World Series championship game. Rachel Fox (No. 44): My dream play is to strike out the last batter to win the NCAA Women’s College World Series. Marlee Gabaldon (No. 7): My dream play is to climb the fence and snatch a homerun. The problem is, I’m not an outfielder. Taylor Hoagland (No. 6): My dream play is to make a diving catch on the right field line to win the national championship game. Blaire Luna (No.12): My dream play is to end the game with a huge strike out against the team’s best hitter, with a full count. Mandy Ogle (No.5): My dream play is to turn a double play by making a diving catch in foul territory, then throwing the runner out at second.
Torie Schmidt (No. 4): My dream play is the game being in the bottom of the seventh inning, with two outs and bases loaded. I’d end the game making a diving catch. Karina Scott (No. 22): My dream play is to make a diving catch with bases loaded and a 3-2 count. Gabby Smith (No. 18): My dream play is running to the ball and making a back handed diving catch. Nadia Taylor (No. 88): My dream play is to complete a triple play with bases loaded. I’d touch third base, throw to second base and they’d throw to first base. Taylor Thom (No. 11): My dream play is a diving catch on a line drive in the hole. Brejae Washington (No. 20): My dream play is to make a diving catch then I’d toss the ball to either the left or right fielder as they jump over me to catch the ball and throw the lead runner out at home. |
