- Louisiana-Lafayette improved to 43-30 all-time in NCAA Regional play (21st NCAA Regional appearance).
- The Ragin' Cajuns produced six runs on five hits in the fourth inning.
Individual Notes:
- Paige Cormier set career highs in hits (three) and RBI (six).
- Cormier recorded her seventh double of the season in the fourth inning.
- Sarah Draheim recorded her ninth double of the season in the third inning.
- Christina Hamilton started in the circle but was forced to leave in the second after suffering a right leg injury.
