BEFORE TEXAS
A two-year starter at Lutheran South Academy after solely running on the track squad for her first two years ... was the No. 15 overall recruit in the 2012 ESPN High School Softball 100 rankings as well as the third-best catcher in the country, third-best recruit in Texas and fourth-best prospect in the Midlands region ... earned a place on the ESPNHS Second Team All-America squad as a catcher following final campaign ... named to 2012 Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) First Team 4A All-State team as well as the TAPPS Academic All-State Softball Team ... as a junior, led TAPPS with 10 home runs ... a first-team all-district and second-team all-state selection following 2011 campaign ... also played basketball for the Lady Pioneers, helping the squad to a 16-8 overall record as a senior and earning a place on the TAPPS 4-4A All-District Second Team ... as a member of the track program, threw the shot put and competed in the pole vault as a senior ... junior campaign, primary events were the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles as well as the pole vault ... during 2011 campaign, won the TAPPS 4A South Regional title with a vault of 10 feet, two feet better than the second-place finisher ... at the 2011 TAPPS 4A State Championship, won the title with a 11-6 vault, the best in the state during the campaign for any TAPPS class.
