Played with fellow Texas freshman Holly Kern at Plano East High School for head coach Karen Kalhoefer ... a four-year starter for the Panthers and helped the squad to a 35-4 record during final campaign ... team finished the year ranked as the top squad in Texas and 12th nationally, according to MaxPreps ... Panthers earned a trip to the University Interscholastic League 5A state tournament semifinals after capturing the 5A Region 1 championship ... semifinal appearance was just the third in program history ... 2012 District 8-5A Defensive Player of the Year ...
