The 2012 season marks Tina Boutelle's fourth year serving as special assistant on head coach Connie Clark's staff. Boutelle returns to the Texas program after enjoying a successful four-year playing career with the Longhorns that included three trips to Women's College World Series.
As special assistant, Boutelle coordinates team travel, video breakdown, alumni relations, office organization and serves as camp director.
Boutelle is currently playing in her fifth season with the Pro Fastpitch X-Treme Tour. The tour is a collection of professional softball players that travels to amateur tournaments and allows young athletes the opportunity to watch, learn and interact with their favorite players.
After graduating, Boutelle went on to play for the 2006 U.S. World University Team in Taiwan where she helped lead the USA to a gold medal.
As a collegian, Boutelle led the Longhorns to two Big 12 Conference Championships, one Big 12 Tournament title and three trips to the Women's College World Series. Boutelle was an All-Big 12 First Team selection in 2003.
A Katy, Texas, native, Boutelle graduated from Texas in 2006 with a degree in kinesiology.
