Favorite pre-game meal?
"I like grilled chicken with salad and freshly-cooked mashed potatoes."
Do you prefer to travel on a plane or on a bus?
"Plane, because it is faster and it is also a little bit more comfortable than a bus."
Favorite game to play on the bus?
"Phase 10, which is a version of UNO, but you have to go through 10 phases. The game is usually pretty exciting and can get intense. Ashley Foster likes to claim that she wins often, but she really doesn't. She just has sneaky ways of getting ahead."
Do you prefer to visit big cities or small towns?
"Small towns. I am originally from Dallas, but I have always wanted to live in a small town because it has a lot of land and the setting is also more personal."
Favorite movie to watch before a game?
"'Remember the Titans' is always a great movie to watch. I like the dancing ritual they have in the movie because it reminds me of what I like to do before a game – I like to get energized. Some people are quiet and reserved before game time, but I like to get hyper because I play better that way."
CD or MP3 player?
"Definitely an MP3 player because there are a variety of songs to choose from. I like to change it up because there is not just one song I like listening to."
Who is the most famous person you have met on the road?
"We ran into one of the Wayans Brothers coming back from our exhibition against UCLA and were able to get a team picture with him."
Who is your favorite roommate on the road?
"That's a tough question because I room by myself on road trips. We have an uneven number of girls on the team so, as the oldest on the squad, I get to room on my own, which is sort of a privilege. So, I guess my favorite roommate would be myself."
Where is the best place you have visited on the road with the team this season?
"My hometown (Dallas) because it is nice to go back and see everyone. Plus, my sister plays for SMU, which made it a fun road trip because I got to play against her."
Favorite snacks to eat on the road?
"My personal favorites are peanuts and craisins. As a team, we all take sour gummy worms and pass them around the bus or plane."
Favorite music to listen to on the road?
"80s music. It is energizing and adds to the atmosphere because the whole bus starts singing to it."
Alarm clock or hotel wake-up call?
"Hotel wake-up call. You get the alarm clock when you are home, so the hotel wake-up adds some excitement and it makes you feel special."
