AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas Soccer program begins its final road weekend of the 2012 regular season Friday with a 7 p.m. match at Baylor. The Longhorns at 4-1-0 are off to their best start in Big 12 Conference action since opening the 2002 campaign with a 9-0-0 record.

Entering Friday's match, UT is in second place in the league standings with 12 points while the Bears are tied for third place with nine points.

The Longhorns have allowed just one goal during Big 12 action, their fewest surrendered through the first five matches in program history and the best in the league. Freshman goalkeeper Abby Smith leads the conference in save percentage (.846) and is second in goals against average (0.55).

Baylor is undefeated in its last 12 games, dating back to a 2-1 double-overtime loss at Long Beach State on Aug. 26. The Bears have been a force on offense this season, having outshot the opposition by a 362-96 margin. Senior Dana Larsen paces the squad with eight goals and 20 points while classmate Lisa Sliwinski is right behind with six goals and 15 points. Defensively, BU sophomore goalkeeper Michelle Kloss owns the best goals against average in the Big 12 at 0.49 while having to make just 34 saves.

Texas finishes off the road trip Sunday with a 1 p.m. contest at TCU (5-8-2, 0-4-1 Big 12).
