About the Series
Texas owns winning records over both MU (10-1-1) and Kansas (8-1-2). The Horns split two matches with MU last year, winning in Columbia 2-1 before falling to the Tigers in the first round of the 2008 Big 12 Championship, 3-1.Texas has won 10 of the last 11 meetings with MU. Against the Jayhawks, UT owns an unbeaten mark of 5-0-1 in Austin and an overall record of 11-1-2.

UT in Big 12 Conference Play
The Longhorns boast a Big 12 record of 68-24-10 (.715) since Petrucelli arrived on campus in 1999 and have finished in the top three in seven of those 10 years. The Longhorn mentor also carries the second-highest conference winning percentage (.715) among current Big 12 coaches.

Underclassmen making immediate impact
UT's freshmen and sophomores have made an immediate impact for the Horns through 10 games this season. Ten of UT's 12 goals have come from the underclassmen while the group also accounts for 72 of Texas' 110 starting positions (.655) over the first 10 matches. Seven of UT's 11 starting jobs are taken by sophomores or freshmen.

Myers AdvantageSpreading the Offense Around
Nine different Longhorns account for the Longhorns' 12 goals this season. Of that group, seven are underclassmen (three freshmen, four sophomores), two have been from players off the bench, two from the midfield and one from the defense.

Doniak for Most Improved
The sophomore midfielder has made a name for herself this season as she currently leads the team in points, with six off three goals scored. Despite only playing in eight of UT's 10 matches this year, Doniak has set a career-high with three goals. A year ago Doniak posted four points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 20 matches.

Shuffling the Line-up
In 10 games this year, the Longhorns have used six different starting line-ups including a new weekend line-up over each of the last three weekends. Only three Horns have started in every match and they all reside on the backline - Erica Campanelli, Emily Anderson and Leah Payne.

Goodson Brings in the Goals
With her two goals against California (Sept. 6), sophomore Courtney Goodson recorded the second multi-goal game of her career. With two multi-goal matches under her belt, Goodson becomes one of 15 athletes in program history to record more than one 2+ goal match in a career. She is also the first to accomplish the feat since she did it a year ago against Arizona (Sept. 17, 2008).

Arlitt racking up the Assists
Junior Niki Arlitt has quickly picked up three assists in the Longhorns' first six matches, tying her 2008 season total. The mid/forward is also two short of cracking into UT's career record book for assists as she currently has 11 total dishes. Arlitt's one goal and three assists (five points) also tie her point total from a year ago.

Goodson and Arlitt back on top
Junior Niki Arlitt and sophomore Courtney Goodson are currently tied for second on the team in points, both with five. The two are familiar with that spot as Arlitt finished the 2007 season atop the team (tied with Kelsey Carpenter) with 25 points (10 goals, 5 assists) and Goodson shared the team lead a year ago with 16 points (6 goals, 4 assists).

Last time out vs. Baylor (Sept. 27)
The Longhorns and the Bears played to a 0-0 double-overtime tie for the second-straight year. It was the first tie of the year for UT, which also picked up its third shutout. The Horns finished the first weekend of conference play with four points, leaving them in a tie for second in the conference standings.
