Follow the Horns on Twitter and Facebook Fresno State (0-4-3) at Texas (2-6-0) AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Texas Soccer program closes out the nonconference portion of its schedule this weekend with home matches against first-time opponents Fresno State and Denver. The Longhorns are looking for the program's 100th victory inside Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field, a facility which opened on Aug. 27, 1999. Friday's 8 p.m. Central match against the Bulldogs is Horns & Heroes night, where Texas Soccer pays tribute to America and its service men and women. In addition to the patriotic theme, there will be service/emergency vehicles such as police cars, helicopters, military vehicles, and fire trucks displayed for fans to tour. Fans also have the chance to purchase $4 general admission tickets by entering the promo code HEROES on TexasSports.com under the 'Tickets' header or by calling the UT Athletics Events, Sales and Services office at 512-232-3865. Promotional tickets must be purchased in advance. The deadline to order is Friday, Sept. 14 at noon. Fresno State has faced a pair of top-25 opponents this season and is led on offense by senior Callie Hancock's four goals, eight points, 24 shots and 11 shots on goal. Hancock has scored in the Bulldogs' last two matches. Texas closes the brief home stand Sunday with a 7 p.m. Central match against Denver (5-1-1). The contest will be televised by Longhorn Network.
